MASHUP - Dopolnitev in nadgradnja Mashup

The overall objective of the project was to improve the capacity for cross-border institutional cooperation between the public authorities and those responsible for territorial planning, by promoting the creation of joint system coordination and effective land management solutions. The objective was achieved by developing a joint territorial management model, including a platform for the harmonisation of the territorial data, and a territorial management protocol signed by the competent authorities within the area. The project’s main outputs were the following: A protocol for the harmonisation of territorial data, a joint platform for the harmonisation of the territorial data, and beneficiaries involved in the land management training process. The creation of a territorial platform consistent with the INSPIRE directive represents an innovative solution in the area, where territorial management is currently not coordinated.

Our role within the project consisted of two phases, were a detailed analysis of the current technological capabilities was conducted first. Accordingly, the existing Mashup solution was extended with the cross-border location search functionalities. Integration of new data layers (Sentinel 2 and 3) was conducted next, following by data alignment according to adjusting the frame, resolution and reference coordinate system of the web map.

In the second phase, Mashup solution was extended by enabling INSPIRE-compliant services, language customizations, links to various metadata systems, supplementation of definitions, and other necessary adjustments to the system.
