Special purpose software library for support of the GIS polygon editor

Abstract:

The aim of the project is the development of a software library for management of topological system of polygons. The library will offer functionality for execution of simple topological operations (ie. insertion of points, insertion of polygons) as well for execution of advanced operation, such as ensuring of topological consistency of polygons, determination of intersections between polygons and performing Boolean operations on polygons. The software library will be implemented in Java.
