Assessment of the photovoltaic potential of Post Slovenije’s real estate facilities

Abstract:

The methodology involves calculating the average cumulative monthly and annual production in kilowatt-hours (kWh) for photovoltaic systems installed on client-specified rooftops. Performance specifications from three different manufacturers of photovoltaic modules and heat spreaders will guide the calculations. In the absence of client-provided specifications, default data from the most common manufacturers will be used. The results will be presented in a site-specific digital PDF report. Each report will include a roof area image, color-coded to show the expected cumulative solar energy received over the year in kWh, alongside a bar chart illustrating the expected monthly production. Additionally, the report will provide recommendations on the optimal angle and orientation for the photovoltaic system layout. No geometric optimizations for individual modules or rows of panels will be included.
