In this project, we continue a successful cooperation from the previous bilateral project that resulted in several common publications in the areas of computational geometry, geometric modelling (geometric data representation and compression) and computer graphics. In the new project, we deal with development, implementation and improvements of algorithms for surface reconstruction from points clouds, with triangular meshes decimation and compression, with chain-code-based representations of rasterized objects, with loseless voxel data compression, and with compressing engineering data in a form of pyramids, tetrahedrons and higher order objects.
