Development and integration of a system for transferring data about the location of calling person from mobile and fixed telecommunication network. This research will be used by national protection and rescue service. A different protocol of different mobile operators will be studied and implemented in prototype system.

The aim of this project is determining the location of the caller, who calls the number 112. In the case of an accident, the location of the caller is of crucial importance. This information should be related with the existing system GIS_UJME. In this way the reaction time of the intervention groups is reduced. During this project, the possibilities of passing the geolocation of the caller from the stationary, mobile, and IP phones of all providers located in Slovenia will be investigated. After this, prototype implementation and integration with the existing system GIS_UJME will be carried out.
